5:05 p.m. - 2005-12-11 I got divorced as of the 29th of November. Right after the divorce, Nikki and I walked right across the hall to the chancery office to buy our marriage license. We were married the next day at her church. So that's that. Last Monday, we found out that we were having a girl. Her name will be Akaiylyn Elizabeth Miller (I didn't choose this, but I had to give in due to Nikki having it already tattooed on her). So what about the land mines and the dead that need to be cleaned up after the war? Remember, I adopted my ex-wife's two daughters. Because my divorce was based on adultery, I can take those kids away whenever I want. Michelle knows this. She agreed to let me terminate my rights and responsibilites to prevent this from happening. These are NOT my daughters, and I'm happy that I won't be paying child support - because I need this money to take care of MY daughter, who will be born this spring. I'm one of the few people lucky enough to get out of making the mistake of adopting a spouse's children, thank Gawd! So now, I will have a clean slate. Akaiylyn, Nikki, and I will be a "perfect" family. 0 comments
